Mike Kubinec became the lead pastor of White Rock Fellowship in January, 2025. Previously he served in ministry in Louisville, KY where he also earned his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mike was born in New York, but has lived in Pennsylvania, Chicago, Washington, DC, San Antonio, Louisville, and even spent four years in Europe as a missionary kid. He is married to the love of his life, Mariko Kubinec, and together they have four wild and beautiful children (Caleb, Addie, James, and Joey).

Mike’s ministry journey began in 8th grade when he led his first Bible study only a few months after he became a Christian. Ever since he has loved teaching and preaching the Bible, and connecting the eternal truths of God’s Word to peoples’ hearts. While Mike’s first calling is to shepherd and pastor the church, he also loves engaging with thinkers and skeptics, and his desire is for White Rock Fellowship to continue to be a faithful presence of the gospel in the White Rock Area.

In his free-time, he enjoys reading widely, running slowly, and enjoying good coffee.
